Revuelta is a circular model focused on the revaluation of egg waste and its transformation into a biomaterial with suitable properties for the manufacture of functional objects, in this way waste is revalued and a model in which waste becomes resources is promoted.

The local abundance of eggshells is enormous and they are considered as waste, which for this project is a valuable material.

For the design, the shape and golden ratio of the egg was taken as inspiration, the pieces are composed of vertical or horizontal cuts in the shape of an egg.

These are a pencil holder, a paperweight and container for post-it notes, a pocket emptier or container for small things, and an incense burner.

The pieces were manufactured using eggshell residues as raw material. At the end of their useful life, the pieces can be pulverized or disintegrated in water and used as fertilizer for the soil.

Revuelta represents an opportunity to revalue local waste and promote the use of biomaterials in design.
